Finally done with Worksheet step 4, what a relieved!
Luckily our group had done with paper work that with objectives, it made our job more easy. I need to find out possible strategies to achieved the objectives that we had developed. It is not a tough job for me to identify the possible strategies as our group had discussed it before. The only thing i found hard to elaborate is the government support.
I am still not clear with the role of government in our project. Yeah, i knew that we need to get approval from JPN in order to carry out the talk in the school, so what government can do with occupational therapy in special education?
I am still not yet clear about the Malaysia education system and the laws about the children with special needs. So in order to get involve myself in education, i need to be more hardworking to understand the education system. What Ministry of Health can do? What Ministry of Education can do? How do we collaborate with them to help the children with special needs? What is the procedure if we want to involve ourselves in special education? What we can do with children with special needs in education system?
Tons of questions been popped out in my mind when i am doing the step 4. Hopefully i will clear about it during the talk. I think i will be one of the participant instead of organizer. =P
Finally, our project came to the last step! We are going to make it! Lots of things need to settle by next week so all the best to my group members! Together, we stand! :)
Emy, here's a link to government transformation plan. don't read all. just go to chapter 4 and read on Pendidikan Khas [page 4-18]. It is brief, just to start off.

Getting kids with special needs to go to school is not an easy task for parents. You can also ask parents who sent their kids to school, to understand the procedure.
